holiday??? yes???

NOPE, not yet... but I'm going away for a night and it's fantastic... we all need to get away every now and then, and my friend Keri offered me her empty flat for the night :)

Here's to the real holiday that starts in about 7 weeks, about 34 school days. Oh no, I'm not counting ;)

Eish, I walked 50 minutes this evening next to the promenade in Sea Point... and although I'm so happy and proud of myself... I have to get into bed - FAST!

Exercise is fantastic - but not always a good idea to overdo it...hehehe.

Today was a good start to the week. Had a good day at school and wasn't negative the whole time :/ Came home and cleaned the flat, did washing, and cooked a meal :)

All in a good day's work!!

Ok, I have a small room, and it sometimes gets to me. I like space and having enough space.

Anywaysss, I've decided it's time to move my room again... what a mission... but I'm sure It will be worth it when I'm finished ;)

Unfortunately the only good thing about Virgin Mobile is the 1000 sms' I get every month. Their phones just simply don't last - and my second phone from them is officially dead...

DAD TO THE RESCUE!!!

He was due for a new BlackBerry upgrade, which meant that I could get his old one... YAYE!! Ironically, the 'old' one isn't very old... that's another story..hehe.

I'm officially part of the BlackBerry clan! Unfortunately, Virgin Mobile also doesn't have BlackBerry BIS which gives you the free internet and chat and all of that... but I will find out what my other options are - and keep you posted :D

There have been a lot of challenges in my life this year... one of which to maintain a healthy lifestyle :) I have been successful and unsuccessful, but I still have a way to go and would like to lose a few of the old pounds before the end of 2010.

My friend is a dietitian and helped me with a new eating plan - thanks fren!

Another friend 'left' this dress with me when she left to go back to London in 2008, and it's always been my goal to fit into it...

Let's see if I can make it happen before we see the sun rise on 2011... heck, perhaps I can see the sun rise in 2011 WEARING this dress :) If I do - photos will follow!!!

WOW - DAY 100 !!!

I can't believe it myself and what an awesome journey it has been so far. There have been good moments and bad, but it's all been worth it... and I never thought I would have come this far.

Mission accomplished... so far :)

Since day 1 I've been wanting to take a photo of Table Mountain from Bloubergstrand (very close to where I work)... and here she is... in all her majesty! I love this mountain... my mountain ;)

99 bottles of beer on the wall...

SO... I've not done this ONCE, and now I'm going to do it on day 99. This will be the very first day, that I post some random writing... WITHOUT a photo...hahaha. There - I DID IT!!!

SO this day marks the 99th day of my blog, and I've only had 2 days either without a photo, or writing for that matter... on the other day I had a photo but it was an old one. To me, personally, that's GREAT... only 2 bad days out of 99. And tomorrow will be day #100... I will have to do something great :)

We were on Clifton 4th beach tonight celebrating a friend's birthday... and I didn't take my camera along because sand and technological equipment rarely mix well together. So trusty friend stayed home tonight :)
